About Us

Welcome to Saltora B Ed College

Some education loving people of local area felt the need of efficient teachers by making them equipped with modern teaching technologies that will enable them to teach effectively. It is the fact that trained teacher can help the ought to achieve perfection their inherent qualities. With this objective in mind they established a teacher training institute in the year 2005 namely Saltora B Ed College at Saltora ,Bankura in West Bengal. that has been duly recognized by N.C.T.E. in the year 2008 and affiliated by the university of Burdwan.

 After the successful running over 15 years now from session 2019 a new program i.e D.EL.ED. has been started with the same vision which we looked back in 15 years ago.


Our Mission Statement


Education is the essential for all round development of a nation. It is very much like a pill that kills the ills of society. Spread of education is various strata of society and to make it effective depends on adequate numbers of trained teachers. Good teacher is a pre-condition for building a good nation. So our vision is to provide good teacher to the nation.


1. To provide quality teacher to the society.
2. To make effcient teacher through adequate infra-structural facilities like library, Laboratory, computer Lab.Co-Curricular activities,educational tour etc.
3. in this program special emphasis will be given on the people from the poorer sections of society particularly from the S.T./ S.C. minority section through scholarship.


98 students out of 99 students of batch 2011-12 secured first class.


91 students out of 100 students of batch 2010-11 secured first class.


92 students out of 100 students of batch 2009-10 secured first class.


94 students out of 100 students of batch 2008-09 secured first class.
